Captain Ghost Rider America W.I.P.

You read that right, I've been working for the last week and a half on a Captain America Ghost Rider figure, and no not a bratz version... yet.

I don't primarily create customs, I also draw and publish my own comic book, Jackket Knightmare. *shameless plug*
So last year I did this drawing, and colored it with photoshop:


And recently inspired by the awesome figures here I wondered if I could create a figure version of my drawing. First off I tried to look for a Capt and Gr figure so I could do a head swap and didn't even know what size I would be working with, but after a couple of months trying to get either figure at a reasonable price I saw this one at the Disney Store and decided to just buy it and sculpt the head:



I just used regular baking clay that was half price and had to learn how to remove the Capt head then began to sculpt the new head over I also cut up the original head so you could switch them out. This is the pic of that process:



The black stud cuffs actually came from a bratz boyz figure. ^^ Anyway, the next photo is the finished head with painted fire effects and a second repaint of Capt's body since the light parts came out too greenish. I also used black paint to start on his shoulder spikes:



This is the final progress picture from last week showing the beginning paints, and I added crystals to his eyes, and the eye on the transforming head which I should have taken a picture of...
