I have confirmation it is a BAF brood queen and No it would be amout the right size if you figure a standard brood is the size of a adult human and she is twice that.

The funny thing is in the 80s, with the GiJoe line anyway, repaints were rare. Not until the 90s(near the end of the RAH line) did you see many. The only exceptions being Tiger Force and the sub Teams but even they wernt all reused molds. I think when they were making money hand over fist they were putting out all new product but as intrest waned the cut as many costs as possible

I know this topic hasn't been posted in in awhile, but if you are a Transformers person, you should already know this: Hasbro likes repaints. The Armada Deluxe Optimus Prime has been repainted 3 times now, Armada Nemesis Prime, Universe Ultra Magnus, and Cybertron Speed Planet(I Think) Optimus Prime.

That would be nice, but it would be big, almost too big for a Brood, dontcha think?
I dunno, it would still be great to have one, now if they will start work on the rest of my list!

Looking at the NY Toyfair pics that hasbro Brood figure looks an awful lot like a build a figure to me. It sure aint the Marvel select brood and its a lot bigger. I think its your Baf.

You know, I sat down recently and made a list of what characters would make great figures in the new Hasbro Toy line, my opinion remember.....and I think I came up with at least 6 BAF's and over 3 pages of figures that would be sweet to have.
Anybody know a way I could get them there and attempt to get them looked at or even considered?
Just to share a few how about: a Femme Fatale line consisting of Typhoid Mary, Black Cat, Diamondback, Titania, Quicksand, Hela, and Spider-girl.
BAF's could be: Living Monolith, Odin, Fin Fang Foom, Tyrant (from silver surfer comics), Red Ronin, Terminus, Master Mold, and a Celestial.
Want more?:USAgent, Flag-Smasher, Scourge, Thanos, Morg, Thunderstrike, how about an entire 2099 line of Spider-man/Hulk/Punisher/Doom/Ghost Rider/Ravage???
Nimrod, Brood, Spiral, Bastion, Goblyn Queen, Mephisto, Doc Samson, Spymaster, Ghost, Gladiator from the Shi'ar!!
Just to name a few, I would kill to have these or I will make my own and to hell with Hasbro making 25 new Wolverines, 25 Spider-man's, 15 Hulk's and etc that the Marvel Legends spiralled down to....
Sorry, on a rant, I will stop now.

I think I know what Hasbro maybe doing, it looks like they have two line one is the legends line and the other is going to be a a Marvel hero line using the old ToyBiz molds. The reason I say this is on the Hasbro site they show an Iceman from the Marvel Heros line.

...that or get some sculptors who HAVE ACTUALLY SEEN A WOMAN BEFORE

From what I read all of the sculpters from ToyBiz are working for Hasbro now...maybe they should pay them more and then we would get some better looking female figs

Yep both Jean and Emma are butt ugly. Hasbro better get someone that knows how to sculpt a woman's face. The She Hulk looks OK but she has that goofy smile.

Meh, the X-3 Juggernaut looks pretty cool to me, I like it more than the standard comic-version. It looks like his legs are going to be a little too chunky though...

I really liked the Jean figure when they showed the original pictures, it looked like a LOTR figure, but now that I see the new pictures of her the joints are ugly, her face is ugly, and the dress is ugly

I'm sickened by the movie figures too, X3 sucked.

But the line is awesome just for First Appearance Storm.

Unfortunately Hasbro has F-All on their site about anything to do with Marvel Legends.

Found this on the Wizard web site -

I guess they haven't come up with the 5th figure for this series.

Better pic too -

you know what? you could be right. I saw that "preveiws" at the comic book store and just figured it was the marvel legends. But now that I read it again it desent say anything about legends just marvel heroes. maybe this will be there version of "X-Men Classics" (XMC). That crap from wiki sounds lame. if I see another X-Men movies figur I just might have to take dump on it right there in the store. If the new line up with wolvie is not legends then I think it will definatly be the better line by hasbro unlike toybiz with the XMC which was pretty lame most the time (I mean c'mon... ninja, stealth, AND airstrike wolvie..lol) I want more collectibles and LESS fodder. Im sick of having to make the figs I want.

I dunno about that guys. Viola, from Wikipedia:

Hasbro has not yet indicated which other figures will be in wave 3, but a list of characters confirmed to be in either wave 1, 2, or 3 was shown on message boards. After series' 1 and 2 were confirmed, these characters were left:

Cyclops (Astonishing X-men)
Cyclops (Astonishing X-men, Unmasked, Chase)
Danger
Ord
First Appearance Storm
Cosmic Marvel Girl (Rachel)
X-Men: The Last Stand Angel
X-Men: The Last Stand Colossus
X-Men: The Last Stand Colossus (Human form variant, Chase)

So while it sounds like a sweet line theres no Magneto, Cap, or Wolvie anywhere there. I think this must be something separate.

Yeah, I think the BAF is a great marketing idea. I'd be very surprised if they dropped it.

Im pretty sure it is wave 3 of hasbro marvel legends. from the preveiw book. but that doesent mean there will be a baf. there better be. they can't just end it on wave 2 with blob. and they will propbly release like 2 more figures too before it actually comes out.

Repaints of older rare figures are great deals for us customizers, of course. those toys look pretty cool.

I always wanted an Ultimate cap but could never afford one and like Kyle said that Wolverine looks awesome. Plus I can repaint him and finally have a brown costume Wolvie >:O

I'd say there isn't going to be a BAF in this because it's not a Marvel Legends line, it seems like a generic "marvel super heroes" thing.

Well it's good to hear that the Hasbro stuff is made better.

I am actually glad to have a chance to get an Ult Cap and Magneto considering what they're going for on eBay. Wonder if they will reissue Juggy and Deadpool?

when hasbro bought the license they also got all the original molds. What they did here is simple. SAME magneto, New color. Same XMC Cyclops but now released as legends. BROWN SUIT wolverine mold with new color (THIS WILL BE AWSOME) and same ult cap. I suspect that all of these will have BETTER joints and Better paint apps. and Hasbro uses a much better plastic than TB. New New Legends (I bought all of them) have a way smooth testure and finer detail than any TB fig. The joints are larger too LIKE SOTA street fighter figs. I personally can't wait to pick up new and improves magneto from an already great design. and that wolvie will be awsome. I suspect THE BEST YET. Brown suit series 6 was my fave and blue and yellow version will be sweet.

What gets me is the Ultimate Captain America and the Magneto look like the exact same molds that ToyBiz used.

Just like a lot of the new Hasbro Spider-Man villians all look very similiar to their ToyBiz versions.

Doesn't Hasbro have any sculptors with some originality?

Regardless of being made already, I think Hasbro saw that those characters where in high demand.
