I might have missed it, but I really didn't see a thread for introducing myself. I figure this place is as good as any since I'll be trying to hold myself accountable by posting here regularly. My name is Peter, and I've been an on-again off-again (more frequently 'off again' customizer for a few years. In the past I've always become bored with a project before I abandon it and move onto the next one (ADD much?) But here's to nothing... right?
I'll be posting some pics of my current project later. Thanks for having me aboard everyone.
Here is my latest update for Ultimate Stryfe. I have a couple more accessories to sculpt and a little bit of sanding, but other than that, we're almost ready for paint apps. I'm not nervous about painting it at all . I also want to say thank you to Barefootabe for helping me out with locating the perfect rifle Stryfe (not pictured). Please feel free to let me know what you guys think and please hit me with any pointers. I enjoy feedback.
As promised earlier, here is my first WIP. This is actually a project that I've been working on going back a few years ago, I would set it down for months at a time and forget about and then just randomly chip away at it; rest assured, I'm determined to finish it this time around. The character is Stryfe as seen in in Ultimate X-Men 91-93. Ever since I was a boy I've had a healthy fascination with ninjas, and when I first laid eyes on this suit my first words were, "This needs to be a figure." The base isn't a ML figure though; it's actually a TNA Eric Young figure. Since I went into the project knowing that I wanted to do a complete resculpt, I wanted something that I knew offered plenty of articulation. So please take a gander and let me know what you think.
