Buff's bench

Posted in Custom Workstation

Hello! I'm new to the forum! This is what is on my bench for tonight, though I won't finish it all. Bunch of heads, couple of bodies. Working on a fully custom Marvel Legends Winter Soldier repaint, a Black Widow repaint, couple of Barbie head commissions that will become Orphan Black characters, a Monster High girl that'll be for the DragonCon Charity Auction, a Joker commission, and Peeta from the Hunger Games, just to see if I can make that figure look good. The tiny head is a Prince of Persia Dastan, and I am going to see if that will pass for a Universe-sized Winter Soldier head for the movie body. Will update as they progress!

Hi,

I saw a comment in one of your image posts saying that he watched your tutorials in youtube. I can't find you anywhere in youtube. Can you tell me your youtube name? Do you teach how you paint skin tones on figures in youtube? I came across your beautiful custom figure repaints, like Gamora and Black Widow. Some said you painted them in pastels. I want to know how you paint them so perfectly. The small-scale Captain America blew my mind as well.

I'm currently making my own action figures at 5" inch scale.

Beautiful figure you got going there! He looks massive! Are his hands articulated?

Today I am working on one of my dolls, mainly building him some wings. His wig is off, sorry if that freaks anyone out, but hey, you guys are used to bodyparts laying around, right? Probably have boxes full of hairless heads! You can see a few action figures piled up to be worked on once I get these wings done. I have posted some pictures of a few of my finished works from the other day.

He's a little over 2 feet tall. He's going to be in the DragonCon Artshow.
