anyone used the tamiya epoxy putty yet? the one in the green box? how was it? were you able to smooth it out with water? and how long does it cure and your working time? thanks!
Yeah brother, I use it all the time. It is FANTASTIC. Honestly, I won't use anything else.
It is an epoxy putty so you have to let it dry for about 7-8 hours to get really good and hard. Working time is about 40 minutes, maybe a little more if you keep it moist.
It does smooth out really nicely with water and it hardens with a really nice vinyl feel. Highly, highly recommended.
