LOL Customizers:The Ultimate scavengers

Welcome to the world of customizing, always good to see some new faces. There was a post before about Dollar Stores being stocked with bootleg figures with magnets if you still need some.

There was a site somewhere...actually, if you go to your local discount store they should have bootlegs toys with magnets in them you could use. Or look for stuff around the house, that's what I do

ok aparently my figures all have sucky plastic and break easily...my gambit head broke off and not only is he my only gambit figure but he is fully repainted and perfect for now so I was going to try and do the magnetic neck head articulation, were should I go for the ball bearing things and the little magnets?

Ooooh I see Yeah you're going to have to fix him the hard way...looks like you've got the basic body-swapping techniques down though, You switched his arms at the elbows with Angel's right?

Do you have any sculpting material? You might need some of it to fix any damage done when you crack the lower-body open.

haha yeah I know but I rely on my own figures so when one of the breaks I use em as a custom and thats what happened to bullseyes legs my littlecousin got to him and now no more bullseye legs

Oh, you want to get rid of those two plastic circles where Cyclop's legs used to be?

There's no easy way to do that. You have to crack open that lower-body part and remove those things. Then getting the new pair of legs to fit might be hard.

Why did you crack the leg-joint like that though? It's easier to remove the leg at the swivel below. See this tutorial, it might help!

Uh, do you have any pictures to show exactly what you mean?

Do you mean the waist or do you mean where the legs connect to the lower body?

Lol, Remy :P I'd say look on Ebay because I haven't seen SF toys in stores anymore

You're 14? Damn, try to get your parents to go on Ebay.

And, get a free e-mail account on Hotmail.com or Yahoo.com, it makes sending email and pictures a lot simpler. Ask your teachers or friends for more informaton since odds are they can help you a lot more in person.

What I do is submit the information in the form and then use Hotmail to e-mail the pictures to mailto:captaincoder@figurerealm.com as attachments.

Well that's...wierd...o_O;;...how do you know it won't let you submit it? Do you get an error message?

Go here http://www.figurerealm.com/submitcustomfigure and choose "Comic Fusion" under the Contest pop-down window. Then just fill in the other information and click the "Submit Information" button at the bottom.
