I can't find any 1/12 scale vans or cars for cheap so I'm going to make this thing with Legos. LOL. I started making the cockpit, and it looks like this thing is going to be frikkin huge...about the size of the Batman Beyond or Batman Begins Batmobile (I think I'm going to need 6 of that batmobile's rear tires).
Cockpit WIP: I know, some bricks are off the color scheme, I don't have that many black Legos >_< I might end up spray painting the entire thing. By the way, how do I make the backgrounds transparent in PS? I mean, say I draw a star, how do I make the background not be white? (like in this first picture)
I just got the Mutant Assualt car from the Xmen series and I'm going to turn that into Nick Fury's car. I might not be done for some time but I am doing it none the less. So, I will keep you guys posted.
Just go to a Big Lots or some place similar and get a cheap pair of remote control cars and cannibalize them. The basic shape seems to be that of a race car anywho.
and if you break it, if it's made out of toy backing plastic, at least its a cheap fix.
I bet you could piece it together out of sheets of plastic. It seems pretty angular so you could just glue the edges together. Just make a paper template and cut some plastic (possibly from the back of action figure boxes?) and glue/tape their edges. Put it all over a Lego frame and spray it black and you've got yourself a car.

Heh, I have the Animated Batmobile, the Batman Beyond Batmobile, and I can borrow the neighbor's Batman Begins Batmobile, I just wanted to give Punisher his own car to not make him look like a petty thief
And besides, I don't have a Batman to screw with :P
I actually saw that thing and though with a little modification it would be awesome but I want to see the actual van, not just a picture of it. You never know, that thing might be too small!
And I'd really like to keep the van to the original design.
And dammit, I don't have enough bricks to make even a mini-model. This project will be put on hiatus until further notice. Until then..it's comic time xD
