With answering questions and all? Recently I've spread myself too thin by posting at so many different sites and quite often far too much at one. I've since learned my lesson and there's a wealth of great people here on FigureRealm! Thanks to Kyle for getting me to pull my head out of the sand and come back here.
So would you like my own brand of tips, tricks, and such when dealing with questions here? They're not set in stone facts, just what works for me and what may work for you in a pinch.
Jin you are one of the best customizers out there I have been ferreting away your ideas and tips for over a year. You and others like you are what push me to be a better customizer. What people at fwoosh did to you is an abomination to most of us. I would love tohear tips and tricks of yours any time as I do those of any customizer. If you ever see where I can improve please be harsh and tell me it is how I get better. Kyle, Ratboy,Doc Nightmare, and the rest have already made my next figures better I may not be as good as you all yet but I will be once I refine my work. But if one has yes men at his side and no assistance in learning more how can one improve? You improve by practice but thats a slow hill to climb alone. No I believe your assistance and everyone here wether they customize or not has an opinion and points to help anyone improve. So please post anything you are willing to I for one will be greatful and as most of this forum have said it already I think we all want your opinion.
Jin man, I have heard so much about you. You are a legend everywhere! I mean, your customs are amazing (not thayt anyone else's arent) but you are a god.... Nice to have you here
Hey, thanks guys (and gals!). I'll do my best! And thanks Capt. Actually any of the tutorials or guides on my site are up for grabs should you want to link, mirror, or whatever. Pick and choose from them as you see fit, you have free reign.
I have a bunch of old 5-inch capes that I've kept in a box for a while and saw all the damage they did to each other, thought maybe someone could avoid the mess The white capes were all stained with color, the fabric ones were torn, and rubber ones were all distorted, so bad...
Welcome Jin... I don't think anyone here is going to complain about you contributing your tips and tricks about customizing. I see posts asking for help, suggestions and ideas every day. I believe that means there is plenty of room for more contributing, especially for someone as recognized as yourself.
As Doc mentioned, if you want to add any formal tutorials for the Tutorials section, just let me know. I'll be happy to get them added to the site.
like what they all said, HELL YEA man! the more knowledge we get the better for us...especially from you and the other veterans out there....no harm in helping and giving your two cents....the more the merrier...lol
No one asked for me to spread my insane attempts at customizing tutorials, and I still made em, and no one has lynched me yet, so knock yourself out. It's just that many less tutorials the rest of us will have to make.
If you want to have the tutorial permenantly on the site then send it as attachments to mailto:[email protected]
If you just want to post the tutorials without submitting them, then that's fine too, you can post them in this board, just keep in mind that they won't be Stickied or anything.
you here that JIN??? thats what the mods here sound like....lol... buzzy might almost be too nice...lol... I love these guys.
Screw you punk!
Shoot Kyle, talk about nice - you've helped me a ton with my totally clueless questions when you or anybody else here could've said; "Piss off, I ain't got time ta help ya." Instead I always got good suggestions and feedback and constructive criticism.
One of the main things that got me really going on customizing was coming here and finding a very supportive and helpful online community. I don't see how anyone here would feel slighted by you sharing your knowledge.
As for my two cents
Is the Bear a Catholic? And does the Pope S*** in the Woods?
I knew of two names in customising before I started my own work Kyle Robinson and Jin Saotome
Dude I'm in awe od evryones work around here priviledge to share space with you guys
As Doc mentioned, if you want to add any formal tutorials for the Tutorials section, just let me know. I'll be happy to get them added to the site.
But now we can become super good!!!
