I have a question about aves sculpty products? I want to know which color is best for figures I use natural and it seems to work fine but what I want to know is some tips from the pro customizers, like fro instance which color should I never use and are there different effect by using the other colors?
If you're sculpting flesh, then use flesh sculpey. If you're making a Venom, then use black. It doesn't really matter what color you use if you're going to use a lot of coats of paint, but like VP says, if you're going to sculpt something that youre going to paint white, then use white sculpey to begin with, it makes your job a little easier.
Also, if you paint on dark colors, you'll get a darker shade, paint on lighter colors and your paint will look lighter.
Not sure about the metal Fixit but I use the regular and the results are awesome. It only comes in white and when dried makes for a great starting color for painting.
Answer: I don't know. I think it depends on what you are using it for. If you are making a black figure, use black by all means. Or use white. Whatever! I've only used White and Canvas and I like them because I don't have to do a lot of coats if something is white.
