I keep the original figures waist twist and saw the figure off just above waist height missing the turning peg...
Then - after filing/sanding the area down - I add the Torso I want using Miliput (or fixit) and superglue apps to secure it in place - remembering to cut off the torso the same amount of space the waist twist takes up
Otherwise You'll end up with a top heavy figure
This is the way I did my own Lightup GR - peeling off Vengeance's rubber jacket and ribs cutting him off above the wasit twist and then using an SMC Madjacks body on top of Vengeance's waist twist and legs
Lol, I just snap them apart like a crab. I re-attach the body parts with a screw when I'm done. I think I posted some pictures in a topic here somewhere...
Oh, legs are different, you just have to crack open the crotch and switch the pegs (if possible)
I wanted to figure out the same thing. But I think you can crack open the crotch area. That's what happend when I twisted th eXMC Juggernauts spring waist the opposite way. It just split in two
