I'm thinking of a Balder custom but I trying to find a base figure that would not to be heavily modified. I think the ML Loki figure could be easily modified with a new head cape ect into the earlier version of Balder. I would love to do the Simonson version but he's a bit too complicated for me at this point. Opinions?
I couldn't find a X-men line cyclops but I did snag another Magneto, this figure looks promissing since he already has a loin cloth and whire hair. A bit of modification and repainting and he might work out. This of course would be my first Balder custom.
Yeah I was thinking of using a Quicksilver or a cheap Xmen line Magneto figure's head that's being sold at KB. I may just invest in another Cyke figure also.
Balder is not as big as loki and thor so I would recommend a cycs and take the loin cloth from loki. for the head use the magneto head under the xorn or a quick silver and paint the hair I would recommend making 2 removable helmets as those horns are something to switch out with his more modern crown. but obviously sculkt on the helmet to make the horns I would recommend the foam found at walmart and used by tons of the customizers here.

I don't know, Asgardian seems to be a bit on the small side compared to Balder. But I'll look further into it.
