Sculpting round areas

Posted in Custom Workstation

Do any of you have any suggestions, tricks, techniques on how to sculpt ehmmm...ehmmm the chest area of female figures to get the simetry and shape right. I am working on a Red Sonja figure and its dimensions from the reference pics I have are to say the least heroic! and I have not found a figure that has the dimensions required so I have to turn to sculpting any ideas (keep in mind my figures are 1:6 scale).

Of course, this only applies if you're actually going to paint over it quite heavily(since it'll no doubt be a slightly different colour and texture, also make sure to spread some sculpy on the join too), so if you're cheapo Hasbro rep looking for tips after ML Emma Frost wasn't popular, might want to try something else.

...that sounds like it would work @_@. You could try making the cast flexible, then grind-off the breasts on the figure and wrap the ones you made onto there.

Yes. Take an existing figure in that scale, and use some clay or sculpy, something reasonably firm, and squish it up against it to make the shape. Let this harden, and pour some more dripping, liquidy stuff like apoxie into it, using this as a mould. Now you have titties!
