Okay... I can forgive a bent limb or two from a figure in the package - it happens. Too much force used when packing, twisty ties wrench it o to one side...
Gods, I *loathe* twisty ties. Can somebody tell me what the point of them is, when the figure is already in a body molded support?
But what I can't forgive is a figure that's broken before I take it out of the packing. It's happened three times to me now...
A blacksuited ML Wasp - right hip joint torn off at the bottom of the thigh peg.
ML Hulk Buster Iron Man - left hand again torn off the peg. Fortunately, he was going to loose it anyways, but... grrrr.
And a DCSH Batman - I think the second version? The one with the Bluegrey body, Deeper blue boots/gloves and tiny, tiny pinhead - that again was broken at the hip joint.
Can't just be my bad luck, can it? Anybody else had a busted figure straight from package?
When I got Wonderman his head was broken. ManThing had an arm off and my White Queen came with the wrong BAF. I find the Hasbro figures better, the elastic dosent take 20 minutes to open. Toybiz wrapped their stuff for space travel.
well kern, from what I've heard, the twisties are there to prevent parts such as the BAF parts from being stolen or the figure itself, I guess? sounds reasonable to have it right?
