A couple of Gundam model questions.

Posted in Custom Workstation

As the title says, I have a few questions.

1. Are the Gundam markers the same color as the actual model? If I get a set to fix some scratches, will I have to paint the entire part, or will the color blend?

2. Can you dye the parts in the same way you can dye action figures? (Using the fabric dye and such. )

3. Is there a site where I can buy resin-cast parts? (Heads, hands, weapons, etc)...

When I get a few of my models finished I'll try to post them up in the Misc. forum.

Gundam markers are mainly for either panel lining for repainting/shading whole figs. I have a "mecha glay" one and it's a little different to the greys on my Gundams. I'm sure that there are other shades that match up better, though.

I see no reason why you can't dye them. They're made out of nicer, matte plastics than say, Hasbro would use or the softer stuff Toybiz used.

Hmm, I'm not sure. Try HobbyLinkJapan, Fan to Fan, or Rainbow Ten.
