Good base figure?

Posted in Custom Workstation

Just a quick question... ML Mystique is a very good base figure, right?

All my TRU has left is Luke Cage, Spider Woman and LOTS of Diamond Emma exclusives.

yeah the silver Wolverine and diamond Emma are big time peg warmers. when TRU starts blowing the Wolvies out for $4 I expect we'll see a bunch of Wolvie customs hitting the boards and ebay.

Spider Woman is the same body as Wasp - that's a good base, especially if the character has a red costume.

The same body, maybe... but Spider-Woman's hands absolutely suck. She has these huge gangly man hands. Wasp has dainty female hands. Plus, when I tried to bend my Spider-Woman's hands, they almost immediately broke off. Not exactly quality. Ah well. I only paid $1.59 for her at TRU (system glitch? I dunno. All the other MLs were $3.99).

Haha, my bad . I mean Wasp and not Black Widow. It really is a very good fodder bro.
Lucky you got that many!

Well comic shops may be an untapped resource that many people don't think of for figures.

Thanks for the kind words.

TRU is blowing them out old TB MLs for $4. I got 2 Psylockes and a Longshot at a TRU in Valdosta, GA on the way back from Atlanta last weekend.

go check yer local TRU.

oh yeah, you can't go wrong with a Psylocke or Wasp for a base.

Yeah unfortunately I didn't find any of those on sale. I did find a loose purple variant X23 for $7.99 with free shipping though.

Definitely bro. But just like Elektra, she has been surpassed by newer figures like Psylocke and Black Widow.
Presently, Psylocke is my choice of female fodder.
