What for use for a belt...

Yes, this thread is about Wonder Woman

I'm wanting to make Lynda's 2nd season costume and was wonder what to make the belt from?Mind you this will be a removanle costume for the 12' mego Wonder Woman Doll. It looks like an odd sort of cloth any suggestions

An ML Sentry belt cut to shape? with extra length on it?

either that or cut it from gold laminated effect vinyl - I have some if you want some
