paint doesn't stick

my paint on my figures don't stick I can scratch it off very easily can somebody tell me how this can happen
I washd my figure with a tooth brush and good soap in even tryd to use sandpaper but none of it works
I use the paint that they also use for painting model cars
can somebody please help me

If you have comic shops in Holland they might carry varnish (sealant) that's specifically meant to seal acrylic paint on plastic and metal.

paint stores, hardware stores, and websites suchs as testors.com, they sell dul cote and thats what I use.

where can I buy stuff to seal my paint with and like is sad I live in holland but what kind of store it doesn't have to be a store name

Also, just because it's paint doesn't mean it's going to withstand you scratching the hell out of it. You have to let the paint cure properly and then seal it. I never scratch at my customs so I never have to seal them, sometimes I make a comic with them and have to do touch-ups but that's about it.

True dat GJ. Primer is extremely important.
Anyone use Citadel Skull White Primer yet?
Wanna check it out, any review would be nice.

yep acrylics! also you can prime your figures with automotive primer, which I use (grey color) and works well as a base coat anf helps paint stick well.

you need to use an acrylic type paint, the model car paint is enamel it dosent flex or stretch with the plastic try checkin out the testors web site, remember it has to be acrylic
