Looking for ML Hands for ML Doctor Who Custom figure!

Posted in Custom Workstation

Hi Everyone! I've been spending many night when I should be sleeping browsing the custom creations on this site - very inspirational work!

I bought a Loose ML Xavier figure (with Wheelchair and straight, straight hands) to make a custom of myself (yes, yes, how vain...) but I decided to do one of Neil Tennant, the fellow currently playing 'the Doctor' on latest season of the BBC's DOCTOR WHO:

However! I need the good Doctor to hold his Sonic Screwdriver - but with hands that stick straight out (as if casting a spell, or doing "jazz hands!" that isn't happening.
Ideally, I need 1 ML hand that looks like it's gripping a gun with a trigger. I also need 1 hand that can ball into a fist. Both need to be flesh coloured.

I essentially cut the head off a current Doctor Who figure I had (it had really awful articulation), and screwed it on/superglued it to the Xavier I hobby-knifed off at the neck (very difficult without a dremmel). It looks fantastic, and was simple to create! He even has the same blue suit the Doctor sports in this next season.

So: If does anyone have some hands I could buy off them for this job? I've searched around eBay, but couldn't find any fodder lots. Please let me know. I'll be posting some shots here once The Doctors' ready.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the offer. I have a few sets of hands on the way to me. If none of those work out, I'll take you up on your trading offer.

The hands from a LOTR Legolas helms deep figure would be good.

I have one if you want to trade?

I'm planning on removing the black dress shoes heels, and using greenstuff / Citadel paints, creating his shoes.

What are you using for his "chucks", I mean his baseball boots? He never wears proper shoes.

Whoops. That what I get for posting at 3 in the morning while listening to Synthpop.

Does anyone know of a site or person who sells bits and pieces? Since this is the only ML-style custom I'll be doing for a while, I'd hate to have an unused, handless punisher figure left over.

I can't even get the regular Doctor Who figures here. Suncoast had the Werewolf and a fresh case of....more Werewolf and one Clock Work man...but I had the same idea as you. I was going to try Movie Punsher hands.
