Making sewer pipes.

Posted in Custom Workstation

I'm making a set of books ends from scrap wood. One is going to be a cut out style section of a brick wall which I can mount a Spider-Man figure on, while the other is going to be more of an underground sewar like section for Venom.

I've got both ends fixed up, but not yet painted. Right now, I am wanting to make a sewer pipe or two for Venom's end. I tried making them from smaller bits of scrap wood, but kept cutting them too thin.

Do you guys have any suggestions as to what I could use? I am strapped for money and material so I need something that is common and can be found around the house.

If you want a thick one, use a section of PVC pipe.

Worked wonders for me!

How about drinking straws? That's what I plan to use for my Spider-Man sewer display.

Wow! Thank you! Also, I am astounded at how many very creative people are on medication. I'm an avide writter and hopefully future author. Been on Zoloft since I was 9. Nearly half my life actually.I'm actually only on Antibiotics and Blood pressure medicine.

If you're handy with scissors, you can use a good pair to cut the ends off a soda can and the roll the can into a smaller tube then clip one end to make tears or breaks in it, also you can use the large bendy straws to make elbows, etc... (sorry I'm very creative at times... I blame the meds)...

I probably should have said Sewage Pipes. Those could probably work.

Sounds dumb, but what's a sewer pipe? Are thy very thin pipes? like Storm pipes? If so then you can buy some wooden dowels, they're pencil-thin and only cost like 25 cents each at the hardware store.
