Making a Jacket

Okay I got some black shiny fabric, some brown sheets of foam, and tape that looks like pleather... where can I get like little six inch scale patterns for action figures?

I"m planning on a Red Hood custom and I want Jason Todd's jacket to look just right. I picked up a Battle Board robin to use for an unmasked head, and I already made him a "red hood" helmet, and I think I'll just be using a Longshot for the body, and I'll proly swap out the arms/hands so he'll have 5 proper fingers on each.

I was thinking about just buying one of those McFarlane Onimusha 2 figures to get the leathery vest off of Jubei but the cheapest I found him around here is 8 bucks, it'd come with a good base body for parts, some sweet ninja weapons for trades, but 8 bucks is 8 bucks. The Robin only cost me 6 at the counter.

But yeah anyone made any little patterns or anyone got suggestions on the jacket debacle?

Also, quick edit, does anyone know if the Shaft/Candyman/Snake Plissken McFarlane Movie maniac figures leather coat/jacket's come off?
