Takeing paint off w/o damagind the plastic?

What can I use? I know the finger nail polish remover will take off the paint AND the top lair of plastic like it did on my car . Any suggestions? THANKS!!!!!!

Yes something 300+ grit, you can get them at most auto stores, where I get mine.

sandpaper,maybe something that is made to specifically take off paint like paint remover or goo-gone

I don't know, sometimes those things work, sometimes they don't for me, keep going to the next alternative until it works for the figure you're working on.

Tip 2:

Rubbing aclchol. Doesn't hurt plastic takes paint off real good.

In the warhammer world we use simple green brake cleaner to strip paint without hurting our small detailed figures.

Should work for bigger things.
