Painting super sculpty

Posted in Custom Workstation

I'm finishing up replacing a piece of hair on a Final Fantasy 7 Cloud figure that I used for a custom Final Fantasy Zack and I need to paint it but I'm not thrilled by how the paint is covering it. Should I prime it first?

so far the paint's only on the sculpty but I may have to mix it better. I've never had luck with paint whether in college or on a model kit. May have to get better paint than testors. Shame the nearest hobby shop's a year away and Walmart's stopped carrying them. Know anywhere with good cheap paint and reasonable shipping? I'll pay more for paint if the shipping doesn't kill my wallet.

Yeah, the primer should help, maybe your paint is just too thin though or you didn't wash the figure well enough?
