Makin' legs, gloves. boots and heads fit on differnt posts

Posted in Custom Workstation

If you've ever had a ML leg glove, boot or head you really wanted to swap to another figure but the posts just weren't jivin'

Try this stuff called Alumilite "Super Plastic". It's easy to use,
1/ just measure equal parts of solution A and B
2/ combine them and mix
3/ pour solution into say a Marvel Legends Leg socket
4/ watch it turn liquid to solid in 3 minutes
Now you can dremil out a custom hole just the size you need to make a perfect fit on the hip peg

You can also use this stuff to make casts, it has great reproduction detail, and pretty much the same feel as ML plastic

I do something simpler, I just dremel the hole a little wider than the peg, stuff the hole with a little apoxie, then jam the peg in there and let it harden, perfect fit every time @_@ Only annoying thing is you have to turn it every once in a while before it hardens so the joint still turns.

Hello Ben,

I use that for a few of my custom, yes it's the bomb. I really like the fact that it dry so fast a . I should buy some more. You know any site that sell them for a good price?

Take care
Bye :-)
