1:6th Scale and 1:12th Scale

Not sure if this is answered else where but I have been wondering what kind (height) of figure does a 1:6th head fit and what kind (height) of figure does a 1:12th head fit? As well, are there other head scales that are sold?

1:6 scale is 12-inch scale, like the original GI Joes
1:12 scale is 6-inch scale, like Marvel Legends

I'm not sure what you mean by that last part, but there are other sizes of action figures that are made, like:
1:18(3 3/4"- Star Wars, small GI Joe;
7"- any Neca stuff;
5"- McFarlane Halo 3
etc.
