What is the best method for removing acrylic paint?
I have a custom I've been working on but I totally screwed up the paint job (it looked kinda like a kindergarden craft project ).
I have tried rubbing alcohol, which works, but it tends to smear the paint around too. I looked at acetone but it said it may soften plastics.
Goo Gone Xtreme or Goof Off work great for removing paint and are pretty plastic-friendly, in my experience. You can one or both of them in the hardware dept. at Wal-Mart with the painting supplies.
eh what kind of acetone was it?Acetone would be the dest in my opinion.I would also suggest sand paper,assuming it's hard plastic such as the crotch and upped torso excluding the arms.
