Recasting?

Posted in Custom Workstation

Is there any practical way to take apart a figure and re-cast the parts? If so, what should I use for the mold, and is there some kind of "liquid plastic" I could pour into it?

here is what I use, casting can get quite $pendy.

You REALLY don't need a pressure pot for everything, but you will get gaps and air bubbles half the time if you don't, and week cast. So its highly recommended if you want to do this right.

This link will take you to a tutorial showing how to make a mold and what materials to use. At the bottom of the page is a link that takes you to the next step which is using the mold to cast in resin or plastic.

Hope this helps you.
