Thats a big problem with 1/6 customizing....BUT Ken Doll clothing fits nearly all of the other 1/6 guys out there so you should have luck wth that. Aside from Ken I can't think of any websites....Maybe try looking on ebay?
If that doesn't do it for you, you can also search ebay for military gear for 12 inch action figures. There is no shortage on the supply of military gear or weapons for 1/6 scale figures.
I've used 12 inch bodies from M&C toys power team elite action figures line. I picked up some side show toys 12 inch figures on ebay for fairly cheap too. Do a search on ebay for 12" or 12 inch blank or some such derivation and you'll find tons of stuff to browse through.
Lots of folks like the dragon line for 12 inch customs.
I picked up three of those 13 inch wwe maximum aggression figures a few months back and I'm turning one of them into Lurtz, they are like the marvel icon series I think. They are too muscular for the stuff I usually do, for instance all of the clothing and armor has to be made from scratch mostly or altered to fit because the dimensions of these figures are broader than all of my other 12 inch figures.
It really depends on what you want to create and how articulate a figure you want. I mean there are 12 inch figures that range from 12 - 38 points of articulation. There are some that are 'super articulate' with over 38 points of movement.
Are you in the UK?
If so, you can find 12" Siderman classics figures of Spidey and Daredevil which are plain enough to work with.
Last ones I saw were £3.99 in toys r us.
It kinda depends on what you need it for....
Dragon
BBI
Hot Toys
Side Show Toys
ZC Girls
CY Girls
All of these are good 1/6th scale bodies but all vary slightly in the look,POA,sculpt ect.
IF you need to see for yourself search Google Image and eBay.
As far as experience with them I've only bought BBI females Cy Girls and ZC Girls . My Michael Myers likes his ladies and needs a wide variety for butchering
Get a few old Action man bodies off e bay mate!! I was thinking of doing a living monolith with one! (Also, they have hollow heads so you can do light up eyes and stuff!!!).
