Suggestions for a Lee Bermejo-style BATMAN? (Seams, Angular)

Posted in Custom Workstation

Hi everyone,

After reading Brian Azzarello's "Lex Luthor: Man of Steel" and "Joker" comics (both with art by Lee Bermejo) - I wanted to make a custom batman that has a similar style. See image below:

Any suggestions on what base figure and parts (best head? etc.) I realize a lot of the details out need to be sculpted on, but having a good base figure to start with saves a lot of time.
I like to keep a high degree of posability in all my figures, so if I used any DC Direct figure parts, I'd be Frankensteining them with better joints.

Thanks,
-Blayne

I was thinking of using the Punishes boots too. Upper Legs from a Ultimate Captain America (the one with scaly armor), and the Crotch from a Stealth Wolverine.

Haven't a clue what to use for the Torso or Arms. I'll probably get a better idea of how he'll come together when my Batmen figures arrive (I scored the unmasked variant, the regular, and Fear Toxin versions for $30.00US Total on eBay! Woo!)
