I have a few questions about this. I bought a can after reading Kyle Robinson's tutorial on sealing figures. I used it according to the tutorial and on some parts it worked beautifully. On others it it stripped some of the paint off. Though I think that was because I had the can too close to the figure when I sprayed it. But anywho I repainted the messed up parts and everything looks good, but the parts I sprayed sealer on were kinda shiny even though I used the "Matte" and not the gloss. its not that bad though. I was wondering though will washing the figure with soap and water mess up the sealing job? I got some on parts I didn't paint and I wanted to know if I could like scrub those parts and maybe dull down the shinyness a bit without the paint coming off (Yes, I use the crappy apple barrel/folk art paints). Any comments or suggestions are appreciated. Please and Thanks in advance.
Is it just because of the paint I used or would that happen with any paint? Besides, isn't the whole point of sealing the paint job so that the paint doesn't come off? Thanks again
Why not just get some brush-on matte sealer and apply it to the areas you want to dull down? (I don't know what brand, but there has to be something)
