Rorschach Help

Posted in Custom Workstation

Hey!

I'm making another Rorschach using the same Movie Masters Joker I used last time. I want him to be as detailed as possible. Would a Moon Knight head be too big for that body? If so, what would work? Also, does anyone know of or have a fedora that work work, or a hat that could be modified?

One more thing, does anyone have the grappling gun from the DCUC wave 1 Batman?

Thank you,
EJ

Actually, I've successfully re-articulated the DCD Rorscarch figure using (parts of):
2pk ML Nick Fury (neck, torso pivot & upper arms)
Dr. Who figure (waist/upper legs w/ a new cut joint across upper leg)
MASSIVE amounts to hollowing out with a dremmel.
Installing new arms in enlarged sockets on the DCD body was quite easy - just just a gob of Aves sculpt in there, press your arm in, (turn it slightly after a few hours), and wait a day to set.

I'll post pics of my process when the figure's done.

The base DCD figure isn't that bad, but the lack of articulation, and tilted-head was really disappointing.

** When it comes the hat, you might be able to use the one that came with the Mezco "The Spirit" figure. It's the same style as Rorsarchs.

Cheers,

I just saw the fig today, and I am soooo disappointed in them and the designs of the sculpts and the bad articulation.

The only thing you'd really be able to use if you were to buy the fig to use parts is the head, hat, gun, hands and feet. maybe the coat if you are skilled with a dremel and would be able to create a socket for an arm connection. but why risk messing it all up?

I guess, good luck on finding useful pieces for your custom.

I dunno much about proportion, but the most that can go wrong with a 6" and 7" figure head swap is that if the bigger head goes to the smaller figure you might end up with a slightly bulbous appearance, but nothing major enough to notice at first glance.

I realized why the Rorschach head is so small its because he was the shortest in the movie

No, I've seen him in stores his head is pretty small that why I suggested him he might have a tiny head for a 7 in figure but it would be just right fora MM figure

I think it might be a little too big. The MM Joker is shorter than a DCUC fig, and DCD makes 7" stuff.... Does anyone have a scale comparison?
