SOS! Maestro Hulk torso fix

Posted in Custom Workstation

like others I was using the maestro hulk as a base figure for my juggernaut. But..there was something rattling around in the chest cavity. So I was able to unscrew the top half off of the lower torso.
But now I can’t get it to go back together. There is a screw, a couple washers, and a spring inside it. And I don't know exactly how it all fits together inside. I pried one of the arms up and can get inside of the chest cavity but can't figure out how to fix it.

I may have to glue the top half with the bottom half.. and then it won't turn at the waist.. But before I do that.. are there any suggestions on how to fix this?

As I said I have a couple pics of what the upper and lower torso looked like after I put the epoxy in. I can send them if anyone wants to see. the fix cost me around 5 bucks total.

I figured it out.. It may not be the correct way.. but it was a Mad Tinker way..
I have pictures and I'll try to be brief.. but I am not known for brevity LOL.
You may enter you own nuts and bolts and lower torso jokes at anytime.

I used one nut, one bolt, and the super epoxy that cures in like 5 minutes.

First thing I did was take the stick out of the lower torso..I stuffed some epoxy in the hole and then put a nut in the center.

As that was curing, I placed the bolt and washer inside the chest cavity pointing down through the hole in the bottom. I added a little epoxy around the washer to hold that in place. Let that cure.

Then I put the screw driver in the neck hole and placed it on the bolt so it wouldn't come out of the washer as I put the upper torso on to the lower torso.

I began tightening the bolt into the nut in the lower torso and TAA DAA.. We have a fix and the upper torso still turns.

Open up a Mystique figure, it has a similar thingy inside. And yeah, it's a pain in the butt to put back together

cool. I'm not promising anything, god knows most of my ideas are bad ones lol, but at least we might find some way of fixing it. I know how you feel. my new Gears of war figure lost an arm 2 minutes after coming out of the backage and I have to find a way to fix it without losing articulation.

I have a couple ideas but removing the articulation with glue might be easier. Do you have any pics of the fig?
