6 Inch Scale Red Light saber

Does anyone have any good ideas on how to make one ,My first attempt was with a tiny juice packet straw needless to say I didn't like the outcome.My Starkiller needs a saber

Why not try the kids ones galactic battlers or something like that. They're actually 7" long but could be trimmed or go oversize, iy might look cool

This Sabre is 6 inch scale Cut it in half and you got two .
