Air bubbles

Posted in Custom Workstation

So, I'm half planning something, but find myself stuck.

Does anybody know how you could make underwater air bubbles, like from a divers' scuba gear? What I really need is a 'blast' of them, like from a ruptured pipe.

Yeah, I'd go with hot glue too. Has anybody ever had any success blowing air INTO hot glue while it's viscous? I tried that one time and it didn't work at all--I thought it'd be a neat way to make actual, hard hollow bubbles.

As for rolling it, I just do it with my fingers--once it gets cool enough, it doesn't really stick anymore. It does hurt if its still hot though, so wait a bit, before you handle it (that or wear gloves or something). Make sure your fingers are clean too, it's easy to get hair, dirt, and other crap stuck to the glue.

May I ask what surface you first put the hot glue on so that it doesn't stick once you start rolling it? I have a project in mind and this would be perfect! Thanks.

once it is semi set and won't give you 3rd degree burns you can roll it and let it cure into totally round shapes.

well if you mean like these, you can make little balls with a hot glue gun and super glue them together in the arrangement you want .
