Does anyone know if they sell just the weapons in packs like they did with GI Joe in the 80s? I've been picking them up now and then. Not the best guns but for the price it's cheaper than buying a casting of one. Has anyone seen the one with the minigun? I can't find it anywhere.

The figures are horrid but heck for the guns it's worth it and I'm sure someone'll want the figures.

I've seen a couple figures with weapons like that. Probably Walmart has the cheapest with $2 a set, or so, and at TRU they have it for $3-4 for a set exactly the same. I probably might pick a set up depending on the set and weapons included.

yeah they do look pretty good. I found some at a local store. I have to look up the name but they're 6 figures for 2.00 and the weapons are 6" scale. No pistols but I figure for assault weapons I'll stock up on them.

My Wal-Mart sells a boxed set of Ultra Corps 3 3/4" figures (10 of 'em I think), and, if I remember correctly, there's at least one weapon, if not more, per figure, so that'd probably be the best value if all you want is the accessories. I think it runs about $11 too--I've been tempted to buy one myself a few times, but haven't done so yet. Some of the Corps figures don't look half bad--the sculpts/paint, while not groundbreaking, are certainly a lot better than they used to be when I was a kid, but then, that's true of just about any toy.

The bigger ones aren't that common at my walmart. I'll have to check again. I'm going to grab a few everytime I go just to have them and I figure I can always try and trade teh figures off. I love the guns being way too big for the figures in most cases lol.

I haven't seen any weapon packs, just the figures and vehicles. Of course, considering how cheap they are, buying the figures to get some of the weapons isn't too bad of a deal.

Regarding the mini gun, are you talking about the 3 3/4" figures or the 12" inch ones? The 12" Simon "Plague" Crill comes with one, and, while I don't have him, I believe Alex "Rucker" Brody comes with a smaller, but similar, belt-fed weapon. My local Wal-Mart Superstore carries both figures (they were $11 each the last time I checked). Here's my review of Crill if you want to know more:

I can't recall seeing any of the 3 3/4" ones with a mini gun, but I've never looked at them all that closely either.
