shredded flesh

Posted in Custom Workstation

Does anyone have a good suggestion for faking shredded flesh on like a terminator? I was thinking of using a rubber glove but it would be too flimsy and flop around even with paint on it.

That's a neat idea. I'll have to test it. Right now this is the least of my worries as murphy's law keeps hitting me lol

Paper might do the trick--I'd glue 2-3 layers of newsprint together with white glue, distress/shred it, and then glue it to the figure and paint it (actually, painting it before you attach it would probably help too--I'd leave the part you're going to glue unpainted though, so that you get a better surface bond).

have you considered liquid latex as I think you can actually brush it on and you can also get a colour pigment additive for it aswell.

that's what I was thinking. If I drizzle it on something in a thin layer I can mold it as it thickens.
