Apoxie Sculpt prep?

Posted in Custom Workstation

I just ordered some of this stuff.and since the figures I am creating (football players and other real people) require a lot of modeling work (pads, clothes, hair, custom head) I need to know how well this stuff adheres or binds to the figures parts (body arms legs etc) or do I need to glue the pieces to the figure after they are sculpted? and any help on making or sculpting helmets that actually fit and can be taken off and put back on. also is it better to sculpt jackets and coats on to the figure or make them from scratch (other figures coats, leather, cloth) that fit on the figure? thanks again guys hope im not asking too many silly questions I just want to start out on the right foot. and how well does it hold up over time if I make accessories out of it?

As long as the apoxie is used in even ammounts and mixed well, there should be no other procedures to do as far as it goes. If sculpted either directly on the figure or sculpted and then placed onto the figure, the apoxie sculpt should stick and adhere to the figure.

I think apoxie adheres straight to the figure so long as you sculpt it to the figure.
