Paint rub problem!

Posted in Custom Workstation

I am working on a custom who holds a sowrd in his hand. Whenever I put the sowrd in his hand it rubs some paint off. It is to large of a rub to fix with the super glue methid. Is there any way to fix this without giving him a new hand?

I fixed the problem after all this woreing all I ended up doing was heating up the hand shoving the sowrd in and letting it cool so n that the hand fits around the sowrd perfictly. Sorry if I over reacted I was just worried that all my countless hours put into this figure would be waisted dou to paint rub. Thanks for all the goold advice I'm shure I will be able to use it on another figure.

I just had the thought thet I could reschulpt the thumb so it isn't in the way so the sowrd can slip in and out easaly withought falling out. If this doesn't work I will try the super glue method sugested above.

Try to find brush super glue this way you can spread it where u need it. Super Glue does turn glossy however so you may want to then spray it with a matte finish.

I thought about doing that but I didn't want to wreck the hand.

Practice on a spare hand or one your not bothered about until you feel confident enough to go for it

How about adding articulation to the hand so it can be opened and closed before inserting the sword, there's a tutorial on here somewhere?,

Here it is
