Who collects Godzilla figures?

Posted in Action Figure Chatter

I'm just wondering. I have a few left from my childhood and plan on ordering some imports to add to the collection. Who else likes to celebrate the REAL King of the Monsters?

D@MN! Hmm...Did it have a little button you pushed on his chest that made him roar and move his upper body left to right? I had that but well, I was young and...It really freaked out my dog.

My mom bought me ALL the 98' movie godzilla's she could find, I had that one too but my cat always sheded his hair on figure. Does anyone know where I can find the 68' vers of godzilla and/or godzilla 2000?

They have a number of Godzilla action figures on Amazon. Try Ebay too.

I'm trying to stay away from ebay as much as I can cause I've gotten scammed so many times, doesent the new godzilla series ( american version ) have the godzilla 2000 in it???

I like the original Kong, the Jackson one sucked to me. The special effects were cool, and acting was mediocre...anyway, I also liked the '98 Godzilla, course the same could be said for that too the special effects were cool, the acting was mediocre...but I really liked the redesign of Godzilla. Course take that with the fact that I own most all of the old Godzilla movies too...maybe I just don't like King Kong...hmmm.

The 70's Kong was blasphomy! The Peter Jackson remake was beautifuly exicuted. I say that combined with the script, acting, and special effects, it was superior to the original.

My dad likes the oringinal better , but I agree that the new one was better.

While Godzilla '98 was not a good Godzilla movie, it was a good Kaiju flick. Honestly, what hurt that the most in my opinion was the drastic redesign of Godzilla and glaring plotholes. Oh, and Zilla is a hermaphroite, meaning it could reproduce asexually without a partner.

Cool! Of course I do think that movie was total Bull...waste. At best Kong comes up to Godzilla's knee. Lightening never makes King Kong stronger. In fact it does what it does to most things. Kills him. And then there was him winning against Godzilla. And don't you dare bring up that alternate ending crud! There was only one ending, King Kong wins, Godzilla dies.

Honestly, I love King Kong myself, but can't really see him as an American Monster. The Thunderbird, that's an American Monster! Heck, we can lay claim to Godzilla! Anyone who knows his history would agree.

But back on topic. Sounds cool. The only ones I have left is a single three maybe four inch Godzilla that came in a two pack with either a Mothra of King Ghidora, both of which are long gone, and a seven inch Godzilla that used to have little pieces of armor you could clip on, the armor's gone and one of his arms broke off when I was cleaning him so I had to superglue it back on. All it needs is a good coat of paint and drybrush and it will be good as new! Want to order a few Japaness imports.
