plumbers putty?

Posted in Custom Workstation

What kind of plumbers putty do you guys get? I'm trying to build an Iron Man model kit, not an action figure and I'm trying to get rid of the seam lines...so do you think plumber's putty would hide those seam lines? Also, would it level some of the pieces so that its more even when I glue the pieces together? Thanks.

I always use plumbers epoxi. I really don't know any other kind of epoxi. It is a bit sticky, but if you use water to smooth it often you can do just about anything.

Plumers Putty Is Great to use on Small Projects & Large ones But You gotta Be Well Planned Because It Drys Very Quickly So Sculpting has Gotta Be Planned . It Will Hide seam lines & Level Out the hard to glue pieces Just Pre-Plan Yor Work & Everything should come out great .

Use that air dry epoxy most people talk about, I bought plumbers putty and it nearly ruined a few pieces, it's nearly implossible to get to work right and sticks to EVERYTHING.
