X3 Colossus, there should've been a variant

The X3 Colossus is imo one of the best figs hasbro has done for the ML line, she hulk was pretty good too.

I'm kinda hoping they continue with the x3 line as long as they don't do any crap like the Jean Grey figure. Storm, Rogue, Kitty, Woverine (I know how many wolvies do we really need), and a Bobby Drake would be awesome. I just think they should do them all in one line like they did with FF and Spiderman and get it over with. They could do an Ice Man variant of Bobby, and a phasing variant of Kitty and be set. I'm not sure who the BAF would be, but I'm sure it'd be stupid like the Sandman BAF. They should prob throw in an X3 Magneto and Pyro too for good measure.

They could really screw with the secondary market and either re-release the Sentinel as a BAF or redesign it and make an X3 Sentinel for the line. And honestly you put a Sentinel BAF in there no matter how crappy the figs are they'll sell, and sell fast.

a non metal variant does seem like it would have been simple to do. I think they really missed out on an oppurtunity to do a black knight variant by just making a second, original black knight (masters of evil) head and swapping it on for a variant figure.

sure they aren't too big a list popular characters (a movie version and a dead avenger) but any variant will sell.

Its not really the color that is the problem its the skin texture. I've got one of the flat grey colored ones. His skin isn't smooth like flesh should be, that is what I think the variant should be.

I thought the metallic was a running change and that there were more flat grey/silverish versions that were fiorst released with the brood series.

I have seen the pics of both and I prefer the metallic (haven't seen one upclose, I have them on the way in the mail and I am not sure which one I am getting.)

but if you search ebay you should be able to find a non metallic one.
