Torso cracking

Posted in Custom Workstation

I'm trying to get the arms out of a Gears of war Locust figure but the torso appears to be one solid chunk. Any ideas?

Boiling and popping the arms out might work. Neca has some weird figure assembly that works to the advantage of customizers like me that aren't good with cracking figures open. I looked for like 20 minutes trying to find a seam on Chris Redfield from RE5 so I could crack him open and use the parts... ends up the figure was mad of solid Rubber pieces that were plugged together. Might be the same with many more.

same thing

yea I know.in essence they're the same thing. It's just for me when I hear heat and pop I think of a hair dryer and when I hear boil and pop I think water and a metal pot.

But they both acomplish the same thing. They both heat up the plastic so that it is rubbery and soft.
