Working on flesh tones lately, think I've come up with a combo that I'm pretty happy with. In this picture, just the torso and right arm are painted, the rest is factory, just to show the difference.
Alright, I realized I haven't updated this in a bit, so I thought I should get to it. I've been working on a lot lately, some of which is coming out really awesome, but I don't really want to show it off just yet. Some of it is requiring quite a bit of work, so I thought I'd give myself a break and just do something I can repaint. So I picked up my Sharon Carter figure and went to work. Shortly there after I had a mostly done Black Widow. It needs some touching up, but I like it.
Soon as she done she'll be getting a gallery here, then going straight to ebay. Note: Her boots are painted very very glossy and it pulls off a really cool leather effect, however its not showing up in any photo I take. Any advice on that?
The mouth plate on the TF is actually sheet styrene, which I think is better to use when making things like armor. Darice is great, but even painted it has a soft look to it.
@Dice Man: Actually, the green stuff is a lot more expensive when you consider how much you're getting. 1 pound of aves is what... $20? 1 thing of green stuff is $10, but its certainly less than half of the aves.
The head is the extra head that comes with the Nick Fury/Hand Ninja 2-pack. I know it looks kind of small, but that was necessary for the helmet to be able to fit. Also, I think it makes it looks like he's just wearing really big armor, which I kind of like.
New updates of WiP stuff on my blog. I don't want to kill slower modems with this thread, so I'm just going to post most of the pictures on my blog, then just a sampling here. WiP Crossbones here, with more pics of him and of Sabretooth and War Machine on the blog, link in my sig.
Its from Games Workshop. Its called, and I quote "green stuff". I've had a bunch of it for a while, so I'm just trying to use it up before my Aves gets here. Its really quality stuff, however you can't really use it for things like spikes, claws, anything thats kind of long or free standing, cause it'll droop.
Edit: Also, like most games-workshop products, its really expensive for how little you get.
Did a little extra work to make sure the mask could stay removable so I can paint rhodey in there
Next up is an update on the Daredevil I've been working on. The head was a touch small, so I made the horns, well, a lot bigger, to a really comic booky size, though I actually kind of like it:
Also working on a blue costume Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider. He'll have interchangeable heads, and I'm trying to find a proper motorcycle for him as well. Started as a Longshot:
Finally, I didn't know what to do with my Hand Ninja, so I'm just taking the easy road and making him into a Wolverine in a ninja costume. Pretty much just needs a head swap and a repaint:
Some new WiP on Warpath. I think he's basically done, just needs some touching up, and maybe another coat or two of blue, cause its still pretty difficult to tell that its not black, at least in photos.
Made his knife from scratch, along with its sheath. I was going to buy a Ninja Strike Wolverine for his knife, but I'm glad I went in this direction instead, as I found it more fulfilling. His belt was also made from scratch, along with the X symbol. The pouches are from some real cheap military figures from TRU.
He absolutely towers over average sized MLs. I think he's amount at the 8" mark.
Great job WT! I can't wait to see it completed!
"I AM THE MEAT!!"

Please let that second one be Deadpool in an Easter Bunny outfit!!

Well in any case I'm a fan of both your works
Bobs stuff is good though.
I love your creations.
