Vader bodysuit fabric help

Do you guys know of any fabric that I could use to replicate darthvaders bodysuit on a 1:6 scale figure?

If you want it to hang really nicely the best but probably most expensive option would be silk, most other fabrics don't hang too well in small amounts.
