I as some might know am making a black queen figure in ml scale as well. the base figure is the white queen. the only thing is the head that will be used will be more of a ball joint (like a current hml) head then the ml style neck the white queen has. now should I make a ball joint neck using apoxie sculpt or should I fill the head and drill to conform to the ml neck style that the white queen has right now?

just plain old hot glue would work?

Sounds like a good plan pock but tell me can you still heat n pop the head using this method, I hope so as this would save me using two heads.

Like leafman wrote hot glue is plastic.

hot glue should work with the heat and pop method as hot glue is a thermoplastic like what the head is made from

I find its easier to fill in the bottom of the head with hot glue and just drill a new whole fore the peg to go into.

nope makes perfect sense thank you! I was thinking about doing it this way for the ml scale black queen fig that I'm doing up so now it's going to be my attack plan! thank you again.

I hope to have pics of the ml scale black queen body up soon. I just want to finish painting it first.

Alternatively you cut cut away at the head already on the figure you want to add the new head to. Cut it till it's just the bit that sits around the joint. Then hollow out the new head till it fits onto the remains of the old head and glue it on. Not sure if this makes sense.........long day at work.
