Hi, I just started customizing and I'm having a problem with my paint chipping of the joints (ML Professor X). Can someone tell me how can I protect the paint from chipping? Thanks, I'll post the pictures when I'm done.
also, theres duplicolor vinyl dye for fabric. Its interior car spray paint that you can find at autoshops. As the name implies, it dyes the plastic, instead of making a new layer of a paint that can be scratched off. There isn't really a huge selection of colors, but you can find one in a base color thats close to what you need, so that if paint does end up scratching off, the effect won't be nearly as jaring as it would if it it exposed the original color.
This is especially useful for colors like white or yellow, that tend to take more coats of paint to get an even look, and therefor build up a thicker layer thats easier to get scratch off by moving joints.
Edit: if you get this, make sure you get the one that says "for fabric" on it.
