BUILDING HOUSES

Posted in Custom Workstation

I really need help with ideas to build a bad wooden shack for figures 4-6 inches. I'm hoping to make a replica of the Evil Dead house. I was thinking popsicle sticks and some paint, but if you guys have ANY suggestions or better supply ideas, please let me know.
Also, I'm currently searching for zombie and skeleton figures ranging 4-6 inches. Any ideas?

That's why you buy the denser stuff, much sturdier than the flimsy crap.

There is balsa wood at our local craft shop but it's pretty flimsy. You could always order sheet styrene already made to look like wood. It isn't really cheap. google evergreenscalemodels and you should find their site. I ordered a ton off them.

You should hit up a craft store. Mine has a section filled with various sized planks, beams, rods, etc. Various sizes and thickness and they sell individually. It's probably the same thing Whiskey is talking about. Craft store also sells styrafoam in various shapes. They could be helpful as well. I'd recommend a styrafoam cutter though. Hobby shop could have some useful stuff too. I know theres always a lot of terrain supplies near the trains.

Are they expensive, and what quantities do they come in?

there are these wooden "planks" in the crafts section at walmart that I've been planning on using on some stuff.
