Shrinking Parts

Posted in Custom Workstation

I'm looking for helmets in 6 inch scale, and was thinking of just picking up Hydro Shrink. Does anyone have any experience with this or any other substance or technique to make this happen?

I have Sgt Rock / Fury and the Howling Commados as a far distance project and thought that scaling stuff down would be better than searching the vast abyss of the internet.

if so I've read that the shrink rate is 50 -55%, so I could purchase an 1/6 item and it should scale to the Marvel Legends size.

Any assistance or direction would be awesome. Thanks,
dakota

Thanks for the info, I'll go ahead and order it. I'll post up in a few weeks with images so you can see if it went well or horribly wrong...

Thanks,

Thats should work pretty nicely. Hydroshrink is pretty straight forward to use. Just make sure that you wait the full shrinking period before you recast. Different areas can shrink at different rates, so make sure it's all done shrinking. Otherwise the sculpt will be all funky.
