im using Model Masters Glass Black to doa venom custom with a DCUC marine camo aquaman base, but on the shins feet and biceps the paint is sticky, while on the upper thigh and the torso and hands bits it is not, whats wrong?
Most model paint is developed to be used on thin plastic (can't remember what the name for it was) that the majority of toy models. I've tried it on a small marble shaped piece of wood. I was trying to make a bomb to use with my Link (the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time) action figure. It took forever to dry. every time I thought it was done, my finger print would get on it and it's very tenacious when it get on your skin. It still feels odd and a very thin layer of dust is still there.
That aqua man features some funky plastic. The limbs feel like any other I've worked with painting, but they get sticky really easy... maybe sand them lightly?
Did you wash the figure first?
If not one of those, I'm not sure.
