I need to paint part of superman's blue costume flesh toned, anyone have any ideas on how to prep it so the flesh tone will take to it well? I put dwarf flesh over the blue plastic and it turned pink plus beaded up and didn't try nicely.
Please wait...

I'm gonna try both. there's gonna be multiple layers of varied flesh so it should work out.

I like to start off my flesh tones by dry brushing 3 or 4 thin layers on. This helps the paint stick and kepes it from beading up like that.

Maybe try sanding it lightly to give the paint some grooves to stick to.
