Marvel Universe - Remove Arms

Hi,
I have a Marvel Universe 3.75" and I want to change his arms (completely up to the shoulder) with another figure, is this procedure similar to the Marvel Legends Figure? Opening up the torso and replacing the arms, or is there another easier way? Thanks!

I'm not speaking from experience with MU but I should think so, I have tried the same on Starwars figures before and have always broken the joints if I tried to heat and pop. Open that sucker up.
